Samurai Warriors 2 4th and 5th weapons guide: Kotaro Fuma’s 4th at the Defense of Odawara part 1

Information taken straight from Rampidzier’s guide on gamefaqs, Requirements: Complete the missions “Destroy the siege ramp”, “Defend the entrance to Odawara Castle”, “Rescue Ujiteru Hojo”, “Protect Yasuhiro Ogasawara”, “Rescue Ujimasa Hojo”, and “Prevent the destruction of the main keep” So, like I said in the video… The battle is fairly linear up until just after you save Ujiteru Hojo. After that, you can either go after Yasuhiro and bring him back to Odawara or you can go and save Ujimasa by defeating Nene and taking out all of those Fire Ninja’s and Powder Kegs. I know for a fact that both ways are possible to do seeing as I’ve done them myself, but if you’re having trouble doign ti one way, try the other method. It might work out for you.

I had done this 2 or 3 times exactly like you’re supposed to, my problem was I didn’t wait for the Mission “Destroy Siege Ramp” to show up as you suggested.

*sigh* one little thing created so much extra effort…

3: how can you use the dash,im playing on computer and i have kotaro on 50 and i don’t know how to do dash (when you dashing in mosou) that’s pretty sad

  6. ff7pianist says:

    @klemenko1122

How u get to play all of the characters in story mode? I just bought this game and the only character i can play in story mode is only the legendary warriors

  10. ff7pianist says:

@j2jkiller Legendary warriors…? If you have XL, you need to buy SW2. Other than that, just play through everyone’s story mode and you’ll get all the characters eventually.

  11. ff7pianist says:

@cabronero224 Same way you get the other skills.

  12. j2jkiller says:

nc accent hahaha. one question, how can you do a true musou with almost or full life?

    and ps.

the fun part of using kotaros musou is when you use it in a crowded area(like survival tower) go straight to the crowd. after the musou attack, look back where you came from, youll see those dead peons fall slowly. its cool. can also be done with the characters with running or moving musou attack., :D

  15. epalstix says:

another question, is there a chance to transfer my save in SW2 to SW2XL im playing it in PC. its quite disappointing my kotaro and tadakatsu were stuck at lvl 50 :(

  16. ff7pianist says:

@epalstix I’m pretty sure when you get the skill Awakening 2, you do True Musou regardless of your HP. It’s an absolutely amazing skill and for sure one of the best in the game. The only reason it’s not better than Awakening 3 is because they nerfed Death Element (which is what 3 gives you) so that it deals a precentage of the enemies REMAINING HP, not their total so you’ll end up doing very little damage once they get close to death.

  17. ff7pianist says:

@epalstix Yes, indeed there is an option. If I remember right on the PS2, all you had to do was start a new game and then it gave you an option to start a completely new file or to use existing data from your SW2 game and then just continue on from there.

  18. epalstix says:

@ff7pianist yay! thanks. :D all i have to do now is to download SW2XL hahahahha

…..MY ALLIES ARE SO EFFING USELESS
THEY DIE WHEN THERE’S NOT EVEN OFFICERS AROUND….SO ANGRY

  20. littletrotsky13 says:

Cheers for pointing out that order (I read a guide that specified protecting yashuhiro first, ujimasa always dies first), mind you I’ve tried protecting ujimasa first and yashuhiro dies… does he die much faster in SW2 or is Kotaro slower as he’s on a lower level or am I just sufficiently worse?

  21. littletrotsky13 says:

By the way I’m not sure if this is what it actually does but I was expecting Dexterity to refer to how long you have to wait between attacks (the higher the dexterity the quicker you can switch from attacking to, say, blocking). I’ve not got this from anywhere but the definition of dexterity mind you.

  22. ff7pianist says:

@littletrotsky13 Dexterity affects either how high you jump, how far you roll or both; don’t quite remember. But I know it’s only one of those three options.

As to your other comment, I’m pretty sure it’s not that they die any faster, it’s just that Kotaro has just a little more speed and damage output in XL but I’ve always found the difference to be negligible so I dunno. :o

Do you have Potence 3 and Impulse 3? And maybe Master, Awakening and all that jazz? Because those all help a LOT.

  23. TomKnight97 says:

i did exactly like you did but the weapon does not appear.

  24. MultiGoldenWarrior says:

@ff7pianist you play this on ps2 or pc?

  25. ff7pianist says:
