It seems when it comes to bows you don`t know much? And this video shows the sequences extra slow. This is an overdraw which is used on modern compound bows, too. Just a different technology. Seems that the Koreans invented this a little earlier .Better stay with sniper rifles…
the arrow he’s using is called pyunjun
maximum aiming range is about 240meters and maximum distance is about 700meters it could penetrate steel armor at 600meters
it is a sniper arrow. it is heavy and shorter than the regular arrows. Greatest benefit besides accuracy is enemies could not use it since is was too short to be used without the bamboo guide
1.Increasing range of arrow,
2.Can use short arrow, harder to see and defend it
3.opponent can’t recognize when fired
(think the tube as arrow.)
compare it to sniper rifle of nowadays
Turkish have something similar I heard, called a majra. I’ve never seen one though.. it was thought to have been invented against the Korean mongol wars. The Korean fort was running out of arrows, so they cut the long 1meter arrow into thirds and shot it through a tube. This gave the Koreans armor piercing shots, more arrows and the arrows used couldn’t be shot back by the enemy. However, this method is dangerous to learn and takes away the bow’s life span.
how long did it takes for one shoot shit?!!
Wow, that’s a really thick arrow, is it bamboo? How much does it weigh?
Thank you for posting the korean overdraw technique. Where can i get such an overdraw? Is it made out of bamboo, too?

Archery is so amazing.
dang it is taking him long ass time to shoot.
can you put the word “Pyunjun” in the title and in the Tags as well please? So that people who speak English can find this video
its happy time somewhere…
This is extremely risky to the archer, someone actually shot out his own eye with this stuff.
That is the sickest draw I’ve ever seen – a thumb draw on a canted bow!
*****
what does that tube do?

thanks for the information.
so the tube makes the arrow go further and less noisy?
that is interesting, i have never seen that before. do only korean archers use this?
